SunnySlope Studio Tour Oct. 24-25
Big news! I am on the Sunnyslope Studio Tour October 24 and 25 10am-5pm. Come see my studio gallery. I am a fiber and watercolor artist and the studio was designed with that in mind. The walls have gallery railing for easy art change outs. The studio was designed around my 14 foot long sewing machine - and no - it is not computer guided. All my quilt work is hand guided. Three more specific purpose sewing machines fill the studio.
A 10 foot work table collapses to 4 feet when not in use. A dye and wash sink is in the closet close by a hot plate for dying. The closet space has wall plugs for the small devices. A 10 foot bank of drawers holds thread, paint and supplies. Additional storage is in the work table which holds larger supplies like my roving machine, and large hot press.
I am blessed to have a husband who is an architect who designed where every plug would go, including in floor plugs. Nearly our entire house will be open with art displayed. Our home was on the 2021 Phoenix Home & Garden tour, and it is one of a kind piece of architectural art. This is a direct from the artist sale, so prices will be dropped as I do not have to pay a commission. Hope to see you at the tour!
